About Suez University

Suez University is a public Egyptian university founded in 2012 by presidential decree. Created from the split of Suez Canal University, it began with six faculties and has since grown to sixteen, with further expansion planned. Located in the city of Suez, the university offers programs in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, engineering, petroleum, computer science, commerce, law, arts and education. It enrolls more than 16,000 students, including an international contingent, and is developing a branch in South Sinai as part of its contribution to the region's reconstruction. The university emphasizes applied research and partnerships with the industrial and economic stakeholders of the Suez Canal region.
