Nyenrode Business Universiteit

Nyenrode Business Universiteit, founded in 1946 by leaders of Dutch multinationals including Philips, Shell, KLM and Unilever, is the Netherlands' only private business university. Its castle estate in Breukelen on the river Vecht hosts a remarkable residential campus, complemented by a location in Amsterdam. Nyenrode offers a three-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, master's programmes (including MSc degrees in management, accountancy and taxation), an MBA and executive education. Teaching in small, English-taught classes combines academic rigour, personal leadership development and real company projects. The school's hallmark is its network: thousands of alumni in leadership positions, a close-knit cohort culture — most students live on campus — and strong ties with the Dutch business community. Admissions are demanding and fees are high, in exchange for outstanding placement rates in management careers.
