Arab Open University Cairo

The Arab Open University Cairo is a private, non-profit institution located in El Shorouk on the Cairo-Suez road. A member of the pan-Arab Arab Open University network, it introduced the model of open and blended higher education in Egypt, combining face-to-face classes with distance learning. The university offers credit-based undergraduate programmes in business, information technology, English language and communication. Its flexible structure also serves working students; fees are calculated according to the credit hours taken, and international students pay the same rates as Egyptian students. Through its accessible educational model and shared standards with the other Arab campuses of the AOU network, the university plays a significant role in widening access to higher education and supporting lifelong learning in Egypt.
