About Pallas University of Applied Sciences

Founded in Tartu in 2000 in the tradition of the Pallas art school established in 1919, Pallas University of Applied Sciences is one of Estonia's leading institutions for applied higher artistic education. It teaches design, photography, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, conservation-restoration and illustration, organised into eight curricula at the professional higher diploma level. Based in the creative Karlova district of Tartu, the school maintains international art-school partnerships and regularly exhibits its students' and teachers' work in Estonia and abroad.
