About Danish National School of Performing Arts

The Danish National School of Performing Arts (Den Danske Scenekunstskole, DDSKS) is Denmark's leading public institution for performing arts education, located in Copenhagen and Aarhus, under the Danish Ministry of Culture. It offers around ten programmes covering acting, contemporary dance, choreography, scenography, light and sound design, production and stage management, as well as an MFA in performing arts. The strongly practice-based curriculum is built around public productions guided by professional Danish and international artists. The school hosts about 130 students in an interdisciplinary environment, with selective audition-based admissions and a 700 DKK application fee. Non-EU/EEA students pay tuition fees for the master's programmes.
