The University of Dubai (UD) is a private university founded in 1997 by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to serve the emirate's economic ambitions. It is accredited in the United States by ACBSP and by the UAE authorities. UD offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration (BBA, MBA), information systems, data engineering and cybersecurity, together with an LLM. Its computing programmes are aligned with international standards. Based on a modern campus, the university maintains close ties with Dubai's business community through internships, company projects and direct recruitment. Merit scholarships of up to 50% of tuition reward the strongest applicants, and fees remain below those of most comparable private institutions in the city.
