About University College South Denmark

University College South Denmark (UC SYD) is a public institution of applied higher education with around 10,000 students on campuses in Esbjerg, Haderslev, Kolding, Sønderborg and Aabenraa. UC SYD offers professional bachelor's degrees in nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, education, social work and public administration, with internships embedded from the first semesters. Several programmes are also offered in English for international students. The institution invoices tuition fees per semester to non-EU/EEA students in accordance with Danish law and works closely with hospitals, daycare centres and social services in southern Denmark, for which it is a key training provider.
