Universitas Jember (UNEJ)

Universitas Jember (UNEJ) is a public university located in Jember, East Java Province. Founded in 1957 as a university-level course in law and economics, it became a full state university in 1964 and has grown into a major academic player in the eastern part of the province, holding an A accreditation from BAN-PT. UNEJ comprises around fifteen faculties covering law, economics and business, agriculture, medicine and dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, mathematics and natural sciences, social and political sciences, literature, computer science, public health and teacher training, alongside an active graduate school. The university is known for its research in tropical agronomy and biotechnology. Tuition follows the national per-semester UKT system, with four groups for the independent track starting at IDR 2,500,000 per semester for group I, lower bands for national admission routes, and one-off institutional development contributions (IPI) for independently admitted students, as set by rectoral decree.
