About Universidad de O'Higgins

Universidad de O'Higgins is a public Chilean university founded in 2015 in Rancagua, capital of the Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins region, south of Santiago. Part of the new generation of regional state universities, it organizes its offering around five institutes: agri-food, animal and environmental sciences; education; engineering; health sciences; and social sciences, plus an audiovisual studies institute. UOH focuses on applied research serving the region's wine, agricultural and mining industries, and on affordable fees within the framework of state free-tuition schemes for eligible students.
