About Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is the city-state's fifth autonomous university, established in 2009 and granted full university status in 2014. It champions the applied degree pathway in Singapore higher education. SIT offers bachelor's and master's programmes in engineering, computing, health and applied social sciences, chemical and food technology, design and hospitality, frequently co-developed with industry. The SIT-Degree embeds a mandatory eight-to-twelve-month work attachment. Its new Punggol Digital District campus, shared with industry partners, embodies its integrated learning vision.
