The Nevsky Institute of Language and Culture is a private institution in St. Petersburg founded in April 1996, located in the Petrogradsky district. It was originally created for Russian language programs aimed at foreign students. It offers degrees in linguistics and intercultural communication, public relations, finance, management, accounting, Russian studies and European studies. It hosts Russian students and students from many countries (USA, UK, France, Spain, etc.). The institute is active in exchange programs (one semester or a full year) with partners in Spain, Greece, Slovenia, the UK and the USA, each exchange student being paired with a Russian student for weekly tutoring.
