About National Research University of Electronic Technology

The National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) was founded in 1965 in Zelenograd, the Soviet and later Russian 'Silicon Valley' specialising in microtechnologies. It trains engineers in microcircuit design, nanotechnology, computer science, software engineering and embedded systems. MIET hosts joint design centres with Russia's major electronics companies and runs an international education institute for foreign students.
