Its historic campus, located in central Athens near the Acropolis, offers a truly iconic study environment. The university is organised into schools and departments spanning medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, law, economics, informatics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and a wide range of humanities and social science disciplines. It operates university hospitals and internationally recognised research laboratories.
