King Salman International University (KSIU) is a non-profit institution founded in 2020 under Egypt's private and national universities law. It operates three smart campuses located in El Tor, Sharm El-Sheikh and Ras Sedr, in the South Sinai governorate. KSIU comprises 13 faculties covering medicine, pharmacy, engineering, computing, law, management, tourism and languages, among others. Programmes are designed to international standards, with English as the medium of instruction in many disciplines and extensive use of digital tools. The university aims to become a centre of excellence serving the development of Sinai and the Red Sea region, training professionals for the tourism, energy and technology industries.
