Elevated from conservatory to private university status after accreditation by AQ Austria, it plays a pioneering role in Europe in this field. It offers bachelor's and master's programmes in music performance, music education and music production and media, combining artistic training, pedagogy and the creative industries. Teaching is delivered by active professional musicians and builds on projects, masterclasses and recording sessions. Tuition fees, adjusted annually against the Austrian consumer price index, amount to around EUR 6,338 per semester at master's level; the ÖH contribution of EUR 26.20 is already included. The institution also charges registration fees due with the first instalment.
