About Islamic University of Malaysia (UIM)

Universiti Islam Malaysia (UIM) is Malaysia's first private university exclusively dedicated to postgraduate studies. Founded in 2013 by LAKIM Bhd, it began operations in 2014 with an initial campus in Cyberjaya and administrative offices in Petaling Jaya. UIM operates six faculties spanning Quranic and Sunnah studies, Islamic civilisation, Shariah and law, economics and muamalat, science and technology, and education and social sciences, delivering master's and doctoral degrees in these disciplines.
