FH Gesundheitsberufe OÖ is the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions of Upper Austria. Founded jointly by the state, the Kepler Universitätsklinikum hospital group and other partners, it has trained the region's healthcare professionals since 2007. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees in health and nursing science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and healthcare institution management, all accredited under Austrian Fachhochschule law. Programmes combine academic teaching with intensive clinical placements in partner hospitals. Tuition is EUR 363.36 per semester for all bachelor's and master's students under the FHStG. Merit-based scholarships are available, and students of the Health and Nursing bachelor can apply for a monthly nursing scholarship of EUR 658; publicly funded study places are offered each year at its Linz, Wels, Steyr, Ried and Vöcklabruck locations.
