About Dhofar University

Dhofar University is a private, not-for-profit institution established in Salalah, capital of Dhofar Governorate, by Ministerial Decree No. 5/2004 issued in January 2004. It is the first university in the south of the Sultanate. It is organised into colleges of arts and applied sciences, commerce and business administration, engineering, law and medicine, supported by a Centre for Preparatory Studies that charges its programmes per semester. The university also offers a broad portfolio of master's programmes: education (counselling, curriculum and instruction, administration), management, accounting, social work, private and public law, Arabic studies, information technology and an MBA. Its fees are published online and apply per credit hour for both day undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
