About Budapest University of Economics and Business (BGE)

Budapest University of Economics and Business (BGE) is Hungary's largest centre for economics and business studies, heir to institutions founded in the nineteenth century. A public university, it gained university status in 2000. Its academic portfolio, spread across three faculties, covers economics, international business, finance, marketing, tourism, communication and applied languages, with eleven bachelor's and eleven master's programmes and an English-language doctoral school. Nearly 20,000 students from 90 countries study there. BGE maintains extensive international cooperation and numerous corporate partnerships. It trains a large share of Hungary's economics and business professionals.
