About BFI Vienna University of Applied Sciences

BFI Vienna University of Applied Sciences (FH des BFI Wien) is a Fachhochschule founded by the Austrian labour movement's training institute (BFI), located in central Vienna. It hosts around 1,100 students in small cohorts. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees in finance, accounting and taxation, management and entrepreneurship, business and European studies, economics, human resource management, as well as computer science and software engineering. Several programmes are taught in English, and the institution holds the EU's ECTS and Diploma Supplement labels. Admission follows a selective process with final rankings at the end of June. Third-country applicants pay a deposit of EUR 200 when submitting their application, credited towards first-semester fees. A network of more than 80 partner universities supports study periods abroad.
